The accumulation of knowledge in the manufacture and repair of Expanding Mandrels, combined with the many challenges that steel mills have faced, has made ZADRA a strategic partner capable of offering mechanical solutions and improvements that result in increased productivity and lifespan of new or repaired equipment.

The relentless pursuit of improving the performance of equipment repaired or manufactured by ZADRA includes:

• REENGINEERING: designing assemblies that do not have manufacturing drawings with field measurement, specification of raw materials, heat treatments, and coatings;
• Revision of raw material specifications considering current market offers for component manufacturing;
• Application of special coatings – Hard Chrome, Tungsten Carbide, Nickel, Ceramic, and many others, as well as elastomers;
• Replacement of entire bronze parts with Bronze-deposited Steel;
• Modification of the configuration of strategic mechanical components making them less prone to breakage and wear.
The SOLUTIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS are suggested to the client and submitted for their approval.
